One-liner Wednesday and JusJoJan 11th

No guest is so welcome in a friend’s house that he will not become a nuisance after three days.

… so you can imagine how much patience I have left now that our current guest is currently enjoying her 31st day with us. I might add that my general rule for visitors is a maximum of three weeks if a long haul flight is involved.

And so I’m counting down the remaining 4 days until departure. It can’t come soon enough!

And so it is for our wee family today. Mr D’s mother died suddenly the week before Christmas Day. Today we said our bitter-sweet goodbyes. Bitter because we didn’t want to lose her, but sweet, knowing she is no longer in pain.
